Amplify Youth Development offers unique, student-centered, interactive presentations that teach goal setting, healthy relationship development, and the benefits of abstaining from sex until marriage. Our curricula adapt easily to most classroom settings and are offered for grades 6 through 12. All programs are offered free of charge.

What about parents?
Amplify also offers free workshops for parents of teens. Consider hosting a parent night in which our professional staff can teach your parents to have open conversations about sexuality with their children. Workshops last 1.5 to 2 hours and include a packet of information for all participants.

3-session Intro: Our educators will introduce the key elements of sexual wellness, focusing on the benefits of abstinence, including the emotional and physical aspects of sexuality, the risks of being sexually active, and the building blocks of healthy relationships.
5-session Unit: Our educators will walk students through a holistic understanding of sexuality, address the risks of being sexually active, share a true story of the consequences of teenage sexual activity, help students identify and resist peer pressure, and teach the building blocks of healthy relationships.

5-session Unit for High Schools: This unit teaches the above concepts, but with a particular focus on healthy relationship formation. Based on the curriculum How to Avoid Falling in Love with a Jerk, our program helps teens understand that they should know someone before they trust them, test trustworthiness before they rely, prove reliability before they commit, and establish commitment before they enter a physical relationship.
