Program Director, Andrea Nelson
Andrea joined Amplify in 2006. She has spent time as an educator and was the program coordinator until 2009. Andrea graduated from Wheaton College, IL with a major in Communications. Her favorite parts of her job are speaking, training, researching, and mentoring.
Program Coordinator, Melissa Hyder
Melissa joined Amplify in 2009. Prior to that, Melissa was the director of a youth outreach group. Melissa works closely with the educators and volunteers of Amplify, and also spends time in the schools with students.
Parent Workshop Coordinator, Tori Libby
Tori joined Amplify in 2003. She is an experienced educator and communicator who developed a passion for working with youth after providing emergency housing for pregnant teens for several years. Tori is excited to work with parents to help them along the long road of parenting teens.
Educator, Christie Kemper
Christie joined Amplify in 2011. Christie graduated from Wheaton College, IL with a degree in education and experience as a camp counselor and leader. Christie loves sharing her life lessons with students and telling them how she practices what she teaches.
Volunteer Educators
Nicole Lott
Nicole joined Amplify in 2010 and volunteers as an educator. Nicole has been married for over 20 yrs and has fun hanging out with her husband and teenage daughter. She passionately shares her stories and life experience with teens, helping them make healthy choices. Nicole can relate to many of the challenges and consequences that come from making poor choices. She loves studying oxytocin and will hunt down any answer you are looking for about human bonding!
