It can feel like the final exam of parenting. You know that you have to address the topic eventually, but nevertheless avoid discussing it with your children. When it finally comes up, it is tempting to treat the conversation as open-and-shut and to be glad to get it over with. What is "it"? Sex. What parents don't know is that is isn't (or shouldn't be) "the talk," but an open dialogue with teens.
